A Good Run That Came Up Short

July 7th, 2018

After attending hundreds of community meetings, getting to know the people and communities of District 7, and knocking on nearly 3,000 doors, our team came up 176 votes (3.6%) short of a primary election victory.

Hats off to Jessica Haire, Jonathan's Republican primary opponent, who came out on top after the votes were tallied. Both Jonathan and Jessica ran clean, positive campaigns that focused on what they could do to make District 7 a better place. This race set an example of how primary races should be conducted.

Our team wishes Jessica Haire the best in the November General Election!

Letters From County Executive Schuh

This is a letter I received from County Executive Steve Schuh a few years ago after I had served on his Education Transition Committee. This letter was his thanking me for my service. I am proud of this volunteer service to the county.

This is a letter of recommendation County Executive Steve Schuh wrote to the School Board Nomination Commission in January of 2015. Although I was not appointed to the board, I received a majority of votes from the commissioners and was one of a field of 33 applicants for the two open seats. I am proud to have put my hat into the ring.
